The 1^st Steering Commitee Meeting for the INECO project was held in Paris, France on the 22^nd and the 23^rd November 2006. The objectives of the Meeting were to:

• Discuss the project framework and progress with the experts collaborating with the INECO Methodology Group;
• Elaborate on water management problems identified in the regions analysed in INECO;
• Plan forthcoming project tasks and activities.
