The aim of Work Package 6 is to maximize the usefulness and the impact of the project on different scales and for different stakeholders. To that end, the Work Package will establish the links with ongoing initiatives and networks, bringing external knowledge and expectations into the project. Through the development of targeted dissemination material, the organization of events addressed to different audiences, and active involvement in relevant EU platforms, the Work Package will develop operational science-industry-policy links among the EcoWater RTD and Case Study Development activities, and relevant EU initiatives, policy actors, decision makers, and representatives of the use sectors concerned by the project implementation and outputs.

The objectives of the Work Package activities are to:

1. Foster linkages to active EU initiatives on eco-efficiency indicators and sectoral assessments undertaken by the other groups
2. Support information-sharing and dissemination of experience through live dialogue and feedback with policy and decision-makers, the water industry, and local actors involved in the development of the EcoWater Case Studies
3. Widely communicate, through science-policy briefs and targeted material, the EcoWater outputs and policy recommendations in terms of supporting the implementation of EC environmental policies
