The 3rd Annual WaterStrategyMan Project Meeting was held in Palermo, Sicily at the “Splendid Hotel La Torre”, on the 6th and 7th October 2004. The Palermo Meeting was the final substantial meeting of the WSM Project, before the completion of the majority of the work undertaken.
The meeting had three objectives:

The extensive discussion of the work undertaken in 2004. Results were presented concerned the formulation and analysis of comprehensive scenarios and guidelines for improved water management for the Case Studies of Paros (Greece), Limassol (Cyprus), Algarve (Portugal), Tel Aviv (Israel), and Tenerife (Spain).

The presentation of a general framework for the development of alternative water management strategies, and its application in the Case Studies for Greece and Cyprus.

The definition of the content for the subsequent deliverables of the project.
