The workshop "Water Scarcity & Pollution: Towards an Integrated Vision" was held on November 14^th 2007, at the Concord El Salam Hotel in Cairo, under the auspices of  Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Abou Zeid Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources, Eng. Ahmed El Maghrabi, Minister of Housing and Utilities and Eng, Amin Abaza, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation.

The workshop was organized by International Consultants Egypt, the INECO Regional partner in Egypt, in collaboration with the NATO Programme and the  International Water Technology Association. It was attended by 150 persons from different administrative bodies and authorities dealing with water management issues.
